The Mazi Organization exists to organise Imo State around service, transparency, and the everyday work of building communities that work for the people in them.
A civic platform, organised before the ballot needed one.
The Mazi Organization (TMO) is a grassroots civic movement founded in 2024 to coordinate community engagement, social development, economic empowerment, and citizen participation in governance across Imo State. It is not a campaign vehicle built for an election cycle: it is infrastructure, built ward by ward, that a candidacy eventually grew out of, not the other way around.
Today, TMO runs active structures in all 27 local government areas and 305 wards of Imo State, with a board of trustees and working committees formally in place since February 2026, and roughly 172,000 residents mobilised around a shared idea: that ordinary people, organised well, are the most powerful force in Imo politics.

Imo State doesn't lack potential. It lacks organisation.
For too long, civic energy in Imo State has surfaced every four years and gone quiet in between. Communities are asked to show up for elections, then left to organise their own boreholes, scholarships, and security in the years that follow. TMO exists to close that gap: to give ordinary Imolites a standing platform for organising, not just a ballot to cast once every cycle.
We believe accountability is a discipline that has to be practiced daily, not promised annually. That belief is why TMO was structured as a movement first: with working committees, ward coordinators, and directors who answer to their communities long before any office is won or lost.

Community Development
From the renovated classroom block at Comprehensive Secondary School, Umuekwune, to free healthcare through the Aihwa Integrated Medical Clinic and direct cash assistance for widows, TMO channels resources into the physical and social infrastructure that communities actually run on.
Youth Empowerment
Ten consecutive years of WAEC fee payments, scholarships through the Jude and Juliana Amadi Foundation, and grassroots sport through the Chima Amadi Football Competition give young Imolites a foothold before they ever need a government job to survive.
Civic Participation
Through Mazi Goes to Market, ward-level mobilisation, and structures now active in all 27 local government areas, TMO turns "the government should" into "we organised and did." Civic participation is treated as a daily practice, not an event that happens once every four years.

Why TMO stands behind Dr. Chima Matthew Amadi.
Lasting change can only be built from the ground up. This is the underlying principle behind The Mazi Organization. With Dr. Chima Amadi's leadership, we are inspiring citizens to take control of their future. Through grassroots mobilisation, we place in the hands of every Imolite the tools needed to shape the Imo State that we all yearn for.
TMO believes in Dr. Chima Matthew Amadi because he has a track record of visionary leadership, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to service, which is what Imo State sorely needs at this time.
TMO is not just an organization. It is a movement of upstanding citizens who are willing to do their bit for a better Imo. Founder of The Mazi Organization and the visionary behind its work across Imo State. A Chevening Scholar with graduate and doctoral work at LSE, UCL, Warwick, and Ibadan, his path runs through four years inside Nigeria’s electoral reform machinery, five years founding and running the Centre for Transparency Advocacy, and over a decade of philanthropy through the Jude and Juliana Amadi Foundation, named for his parents. TMO is the institutional expression of that record: organised before any campaign needed it.
